Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account info — email address and any profile details you add.
• Your content — scripts you upload, scene and character edits, notes, and rehearsal progress (including memorization stats).
• Voice audio— when you use voice features, short clips of your speech are captured to detect when you've finished a line and to score memorization attempts. If you use voice cloning, the voice samples you provide are stored to generate that voice.
• Usage and diagnostics — basic analytics and error reports so we can keep the service working.

How we use it

Only to provide and improve Ollie: parsing your scripts, generating rehearsal audio, tracking your progress, and fixing bugs. We do not sell your data or use your scripts or voice to train AI models.

Who processes it on our behalf

Ollie is built on a small set of infrastructure and AI providers. Each receives only what it needs to do its job:

• Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage (scripts, audio). Encrypted at rest.
• Vercel — application hosting and anonymous analytics.
• AI parsing providers (via OpenRouter and Google) — script text is sent to language models to detect scenes, characters, and lines, and to suggest how each line is delivered.
• Voice synthesis providers — line text is sent to generate character audio for premium voices. The standard voice engine (Kyutai Pocket TTS) runs entirely in your browser; that text never leaves your device. Its model files download from Hugging Face on first use.
• Speech recognition (Groq Whisper) — short voice clips are transcribed during voice-driven rehearsal, with an on-device fallback.
• Ably and LiveKit — realtime sync, chat, and voice rooms for shared rehearsal sessions.
• Sentry — error reporting. We scrub emails, auth tokens, and query strings before events are sent, and error reports never include script content or audio.

Retention and deletion

Your content stays until you delete it. Deleting a script removes its parsed data and generated audio. Deleting your account (from the account page) permanently removes your scripts, voice samples, generated audio, and rehearsal history. You can also email us to request export or deletion of your data.

Cookies

We use cookies only to keep you signed in and remember your preferences — no advertising or cross-site tracking.
